You can visit this page to learn about upgrading from the Starter plan to a paid plan.
To upgrade your plan from within XD, click Help > Upgrade XD. This will open you a page where you can find the plan that is right for you.
Update XD from the Creative Cloud desktop app or within XD, click Help > Updates. When you update, your trial automatically converts to the free Starter plan for Adobe XD, so you'll continue to have access to XD past the duration of your trial.
If you published one or more prototype or design spec links during your trial, after you update XD, you still have access to these shared links. However you will have to manage your links or upgrade your plan to publish new links.
If you cancel your membership, you still have access to Creative Cloud member free benefits, any files you saved to your device, and your shared links.
You will automatically move to the Starter plan which includes Adobe XD. However, you will lose the ability to create an unlimited number of prototype and design spec links. You won't have access to your other apps or most services, and your cloud storage will be reduced to 2 GB.

Cloud documents are cloud-native files that you can open and edit in Adobe XD. With cloud documents, your work is always updated, across devices, wherever you are. Learn more about Cloud documents in Adobe XD.
You can save your XD designs as cloud documents to ensure that they are up-to-date and accessible from any online device. You can then share them with other Creative Cloud users to collaborate. Changes to Cloud documents can also be made when you are offline, and they are automatically saved to the cloud when you connect back online.
Your Creative Cloud plan includes different types of cloud storage—cloud documents, libraries, and Creative Cloud files (synced files). Learn more about their different uses and benefits.
When you work on cloud documents, your work is kept in sync with the Creative Cloud sync process. You may encounter issues with cloud documents if there is an issue with Creative Cloud sync or if Creative Cloud sync needs an update. For more information, see Fix issues with Adobe XD cloud documents.
Plug-in installation and development are supported from XD version 13.0.
From the XD menu, select Plug-ins > Development> Create a Plug-in that leads you to the Adobe I/O developer console.
For information on how to build, test, and submit plug-ins for in-app listing, refer Adobe XD developer documentation.
For information on how to download and install plug-ins, see Create and manage plug-ins.
To resolve installation issues, use the Get Support option within plug-ins to contact the plug-in developer.

Currently, XD does not support scrolling effects when previewing auto-animated artboards.
That could depend on a few different scenarios. Get tips for troubleshooting different error messages when using Share Online.
There could be several reasons causing issues with publishing or updating design specs. For more information, see Workarounds for common design spec errors.
File imports into Adobe XD usually fail for one of four reasons:
- SVG files with unsupported properties
- Very large SVG files
- Very large images
Get step-by-step instructions for resolving import issues for each scenario.
Your file size could be too large or the destination directory could be locked. Learn more about resolving export issues.
Time trigger option is visible only when you click the title of the source artboard wired in Prototype mode. For more information on time triggers, see Create timed transitions.
